The Farm

Established in 2012, we are a family owned and operated small-scale Organic farm in Wooler, Ontario. We proudly grow over 50 varieties of beautiful, delicious, high-quality vegetables for Toronto farmers markets and our CSA members.

Our farm journey began

Our farm journey began in 2011 with an apprenticeship at Saugeen River CSA in Durham, Ontario. We spent the season (March-November) working alongside Corey Eichman on his Organic and Biodynamic farm. It was the hardest, yet most rewarding, work we had ever done. After a full season on the farm, we were hooked and wanted to continue learning and growing vegetables. This desire to farm lead us to leasing land from a program called FarmStart in Brampton. We began with a quarter acre in our first year in 2012 and started selling our produce at Farmers markets in Toronto. Then we moved up to two acres in our 2nd, 3rd, 4th year, and 5th year. In our 5th year of farming in 2016, we purchased our own piece of land, allowing our farm to grow a little bigger, while still honouring the steps we’ve taken to get here.
